ZF Race Reporter Videos Highlight Pit Stops, Atherton Discusses 2015 TUDOR Championship, Shank Switches from DP to Ligier
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 24, 2015) – ZF Friedrichshafen AG today launched the first installment of its popular ZF Race Reporter video series as part of the 2015 the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season at Daytona International Speedway.
During the Rolex 24 At Daytona, pit crews will do many as 20 pits stops during that 24-hour period. Careful fueling and tire changes all need to be orchestrated as fast as possible, while the driver exchange all need to be completed in about two minutes. ZF Race Reporter John Hindhaugh talks with Don Kitch, Team Seattle Heart of Racing team manager, about how important pit stops are to getting their car to victory circle.
